Conflicts happen daily and are often the result of different perceptions, misunderstanding or perceived differences of interest. During a conflict, the communication between the parties involved in the conflict is frequently affected or severed. It is then helpful for an unbiased third party to enter the picture to restore communication in order to clarify points of view and interests, develop renewed trust, open up to new, creative, and perhaps even unusual options. However the conflict is not resolved by the third party.
